Welcome to our 4th year as a triathlon team where we will build on our previous season strength of using the Frederick YMCA (1000 North Market Street) as our main practice facility, along with Heritage Farm Park for additional outdoor training.
Practices:
Indoor practices (Wednesdays 6:15pm-7:30pm) at the YMCA will include swimming & running on the indoor track.
Our outdoor practices (Mondays 6:00pm-7:30pm) will focus on biking & running, and team games when we do not have races scheduled.
Events: Each team member will be able to register for as many races as they would like to including 5k races, duathlons, and of course triathlons. *Registration for the events is an additional cost (typically $20 - $65 per event) and registration is performed by the parent of the team member.
VOLUNTEERS are needed and welcome, minimal experience required to ensure the team gets the best support!
2024 Team Schedule:
-Full Year Registration Option: April 8th through July 31st
-Summer Registration Option: June 5th through July 31st
Training Groups: The team will undergo some basic evaluations on swim, bike and run ability to divide the team into the most effective training groups.

Pricing: LOUYAA Registration $245 for full 17-week season! YMCA Youth membership required (approximately $26 per month).
-Summer June 5th thru July 31st (9 weeks)
Pricing: LOUYAA Registration $125 for 9 week season! YMCA Youth membership required
YMCA Youth Membership: Team Members Ages 11-16 for 4 months is $168.00; Team Members Ages 7-10 will have to be part of a YMCA Family Membership. This is a significant change in YMCA policy for 2024!
