SPRING 2023
LOUYAA Baseball Club (LBC) is the Recreational, Select and Travel baseball program of LOUYAA. LBC is the largest program in the area which allows us to conveniently play LOUYAA teams on our own LOUYAA fields. Our home fields for Rec Baseball are at LOUYAA Park (with our premier field – Jeffy’s Field). We also use Kemptown Elementary School and Kemptown Park fields.
Our mission is to teach baseball fundamentals through explanation, demonstration, and practice. LOUYAA’s recreational program strives to develop players for a higher level and takes all players. When players are ready for more advanced development, they can try out for a LOUYAA travel team. Travel teams play exclusively in a local travel league. Travel teams also play in area age-group tournaments. On average, recreational teams have activities two days a week and travel teams have activities four to five times a week.
LOUYAA Baseball consists of programs for kids ages 4 through 13, with age cutoff of April 30.

COACHING OPPORTUNITIES The LOUYAA Baseball Club is 100% based on volunteer coordinators and coaches, and relies on our parents to make each and every season a success. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach for one of our baseball teams, please choose a volunteer position when registering your child.
IMPORTANT: You MUST also send an email to the Commissioner at [email protected] if you wish to sign up as a coach. Please include your first and last name, division you wish to coach, past experience, and contact phone number. Coach registration deadline is March 5th.
