Spring Soccer

SPRING 2024

LOUYAA’s Alliance Soccer Academy Junior Academy (3-6 years old) & Senior Academy (6-8 years old) is for younger athletes that are looking for a solid introduction to the game, with emphasis on fun, basic techniques, and maximum ball touches.

LOUYAA’s Alliance Recreational Soccer Program is offered to players from 3rd-12th grade. This program is for players that have a basic knowledge of soccer skills, rules of the game, and would like to have fun while staying in shape.

REC SOCCER PROGRAM (3rd-12th grade)
This program is for players that have basic knowledge of soccer skills and understand the rules of the game. The program allows players to experience the excitement of competition while maintaining player enjoyment and fostering community involvement.
Practices are typically held at a local school twice per week. Soccer is a team sport and players are expected to attend and participate in each practice; this is where the learning takes place. Games are intended for applying what the players have learned and allowing them to demonstrate their mastery of learned skills.
Players will continue to build and improve their soccer skills while enhancing their physical fitness with our professional trainers, once a week.
Teams will play in the United Recreational Soccer League (URSL), this is a recreational league that does involve travel to away games.
Teams playing in URSL are grouped by boys, girls, and co-ed teams in two-year age brackets. Within the age brackets there are typically 4 divisions, with D-1 being the most competitive and physically demanding.
Home games are played at LOUYAA Park, Oakdale MS and ONP. Away games vary across Frederick County, depending on the opposing team’s home game field.
All normally scheduled games take place on Saturdays, with possible Sunday games.
Separate additional uniform fees
Volunteer Coaches and assistants stay on the sidelines with their team during games. Parents sit on the opposite sideline and are expected to be positive influences during games and practices.

JUNIOR ACADEMY SOCCER PROGRAM (3-6 years old)
LOUYAA Alliance Junior Academy Program is for younger athletes that are looking for a positive introduction to the game of soccer, with an emphasis on fun.
Academy practices are run by professional trainers alongside the volunteer parents; all of which is overseen by the Academy Director. Games are played on Saturdays and are run by parent volunteers with guidance from the Academy Director of Coaching.
This program implements age specific curriculum and provides players with the opportunity to learn and develop the foundations of soccer.
The Academy Director oversees all aspects of the program and works close with the Volunteer Coaches and Trainers to ensure the program stays true to our goals.

SENIOR ACADEMY SOCCER PROGRAM (6-8 years old)
Focused on teaching basic techniques with an emphasis on maximum ball touches.
Our goal for each season is to create a positive, challenging, fun and developmentally appropriate playing environment for the kids. Players in this program participate in training activities and games that are both developmentally appropriate and aligned with the various best practices communicated by US Soccer and their coaching education program.
The Academy Director oversees all aspects of the program and works close with the Volunteer Coaches and Trainers to ensure the program stays true to our goals.

SPRING 2024
Junior Academy Mini's (3-4 yrs old) Program:
Birthdate Range: September 2, 2019, and September 1, 2020
Cost: $135
Coaching: Run by Trainers partnered with volunteer parents, overseen by Head Trainer.
Dates & Times: Starting on 04/10/24 & Ending on 05/17/24 from 5:10pm-6:10pm
Training: Once per week Wednesdays at LOUYAA Park (35min long), with 2 additional Pre-Scheduled Fridays.
Games: 3v3 format, Wednesdays at LOUYAA Park (25min long after practice), with 3 additional Pre-Scheduled Fridays.
Ball: Size 3
Uniform: Included with fee (2 Team Color Shirts)
Other: Meet the Coaches Event 03/27/24 & End of the Season Games (05/17/24)
We will not reschedule due to any weather cancellations. Instead, we have built in 3 additional Friday practice/games on 4/19/24, 5/3/24 & 5/17/24.

Junior Academy Pre-K (4-5 yrs old) Program:
Birthdate Range: September 2, 2018 and September 1, 2019
Cost: $135
Coaching: Run by Trainers partnered with volunteer parents, overseen by Head Trainer.
Training: Once per week Mondays at LOUYAA Park (60 min long)
Dates & Times: Starting on 04/8/24 & Ending on 05/13/24 from 5:10pm-6:10pm
Games: 4v4 format, (Saturday Mornings) at LOUYAA Park, with 2 additional Pre-Scheduled Sundays.
Dates & Time: Starting 04/13/24 & Ending 05/11/24 from 9:30am-10:30am
Ball: Size 3
Uniform: Included with fee (2 Team Color Shirts)
Other: Meet the Coaches Event 03/25/24 & End of the Season Tournament (05/18/24)

Junior Academy Kindergarten (5-6 yrs old) Program:

Training: Once per week Tuesdays at LOUYAA Park (60 min long)
Dates & Times: Starting on 04/9/24 & Ending on 05/14/24 from 5:10pm-6:10pm
Games: 4v4 format, (Saturday Mornings) at Deer Crossing ES
Dates & Time: Starting 04/13/24 & Ending 05/11/24 from 11:00am-12:00pm
